The
3DISC (3D Imaging and Simulation Corp.) company was
incorporated
in South Korea in 2007 by a group of Engineers that had already worked
together as a team for many years in several well kown high technology
companies (Vidar,StarVRay, Contex).
They
brought with them experience in design of XRay systems going
back
more than 10 years. Within the demanding Space technology sector they
have designed Telemetry and Telecomand systems and Satellite
Transfer Orbit systems, They early on specialised in Image
processing and enhancement, medical imaging, and
scanner design:
DNA-Scanners, CR XRay scanners, CCD XRay Scanners, XRay Film Scanners,
3D Scanners,
Large Format Scanners, High sensitivity Fluoroscopic XRay Cameras) for
the medical field. An impressive more than 15 US Patents has been
granted the group.
The group comprises all fields of engineering:
Systems, Electronics, Mechanical and
Software. Ensuring that every part of a new design can be done inhouse,
and having manufacturing nearby allows for fast transition to
production.
The
vision of this outstanding team of engineers was to
design a
complete range of XRay Acquisition Systems based
on new
innovative ideas (patents applied for), that would be
uncompromising in image quality, small in size, and very affordable,
the first results are the: FireCR and VetCR, both truly awesome in
their price/performance
